Colour advice for ashes
Picking the perfect finish for your piece can be confusing.
As a general rule, if you've seen a stone design that you like in one setting, you will love it in your favourite setting also.
All our pictures are of clients' own rings. We are happy to help with pictures if you are unsure, but due to the myriad of designs and colour options, but we don't have pictures of everything, I'm afraid.
We offer a number of different colours & finishes for your perfect piece of jewellery.
Whether you'd prefer a classical understated look, or multiple flashes of colour we will have a choice for you.
Things to consider along with the colour and finish, is how visible you'd like the ashes to be (if you'd like them visible at all!)
Pearl finishes
Picking a pearl finish will give a classical look to your finished piece - a shine and lustre to the stone.
This is the best option for maximum visibility. Darker colours are often the best choice for a stark contrast, or lighter colours for a dappled appearance.
Ashes with no addition
Ashes with no colour option is a great option for those who want a lot of ashes in the piece, visibility is obviously excellent.
A bold choice, where the ashes will define the colour.
Leaf Finishes
A beautiful addition for those that would like an iridescent multi-tonal finish to their piece.
Flashes of colour as the light catches the stone from different directions.
Ashes can be seen, but blend in well. Ideal for people who want to be able to see the ashes but don't want them so obvious.
Sparkle finishes
A very twinkly choice, with bold and vibrant colours. Perfect for a statement ring or necklace.
The ashes will blend but will be very visible.
Mixed colours
A popular choice for those wanting a pop of colour in their inclusion stone.
Mostly used with a white pearl background, with a touch of coloured leaf gathered toward the edge of the stone.
Ashes will give a subtle dappled effect to the pearl, with the leaf giving a vibrant pop of colour.
To pick this option, choose white pearl as your colour choice & in the notes the leaf colour of your choice.
